Why Rural Girls

Rural Girls are Lack of Education

Life in a rural setting affects access to education for the young girl who faces double disadvantage as a girl living in a marginalized community where extreme poverty, inequality, and underachievement prevails.

In Ghana, young girls who live in rural areas have been plagued by generational poverty and RuGirlz recognizes the significance of a positive influence on the rural girl child in the development of the society and alleviation of rural poverty hence through our strategic EMS approach (Education, Mentorship, and Support) we are creating sustainable development in these communities using the Girl Child as a catalyst.

Three Biggest Reasons

Reasons why your support is so important to the young girl in the rural area.
