We Believe Menstruation Should Not Be A Barrier
To Girls Education Nor A Distress To The Environment

Healthy Food

RuGirlz provide sustainable menstrual products along with Menstrual and reproductive health education.

We solicit for educational support and scholarship to create second-chance opportunities for school dropouts and young mothers to go back to school to acquire livelihood skills to thrive.

We design programs specifically directed to connect young girls with mentors to strengthen and direct their passion to reach their full potential.

Millions of women and children struggle to meet their most basic daily needs, leaving them extremely vulnerable to economic shocks and disasters. We create skill training opportunities to empower them with a sustainable livelihood.

Young girls have the right to take part in decisions that affect their lives but most often their involvement is limited and always resides at the bottom.

Rural Girls Empowerment

We work to empower underprivileged girls and youth by creating access to sustainable menstrual products and sexual reproductive health education and skill training opportunities to young mothers aimed at tackling gender inequality and extreme poverty in the rural and low resource settings through partnership and community linkages. Our impact is focused at ending period poverty and gender-based violence towards a sustainable development in the rural areas of Ghana and beyond.

Educating Women is The Key

Educating women is the key to make our world a better place

Rural Girls Education is a non-governmental organization that empowers marginalized girls in rural areas to learn, succeed and lead change in their lives and communities through education, mentorship, and support.

Rugirlz is a movement committed to changing rural young girls’ lives through education and skill training, mentorship, and support.

We believe educated women will have educated children, educating women especially the underprivileged is the key to make our world a better place. Life in a rural setting affects access to education for the young girl who faces double disadvantage as a girl living in a marginalized community where extreme poverty, inequality, and underachievement prevails.

There is no tool for development more effective than the empowerment of women.

Rugirlz is carrying out this for the past many years with immense hard work, dedication, perseverance and with a vision to support and uplift the economically & socially deprived people. All this is happening in Ghana.

My advice to the world is that, Girls should be matured before getting into marriage. Avoid underage marriage and get Education. For there is a saying that if you educate a woman, you educate the entire nation. Thank you Rugirlz for educating and changing my life.
